Did you know that over half of ink supplies in consideration become half-full? The statistics show that over half of all ink cartridges discarded when they do not have to be. Research has proved the fact that ink supplies go away to soon. The fact that the amount of ink in the cartridge and when the printer says it time to change an ink supply needs consideration. The research that was done on this says that ink gets wasted no matter what brand is being used to print. For example, the printer ink for photos has a success rate of being just over half when it comes to photo efficiency of printing. However, a little less than half when it comes to document printing.
The research comparing eight different printers of all the best American brands of printers took place. The best in this research study was Epson and HP and the worst was Kodak.
It also depends on how the cartridges like a tri-color all in one or each individually in a cartridge. Efficiency is the key here because if you use a tri-color you are changing the whole color scheme of inks. Where if you use an individual colors like cyan, magenta and yellow you can print the same amount of page but only one cartridge needs to be changed.
In the research done on this, two things happened one is about the photo world and the other is about the business world. Photos at random and use of colored cartridges in the research, made the factors of the weight of the cartridge taken before, during, and after use to determine the out come of ink supplies fullness. Cost was never entering into account for the running out of ink and the computer system cleaning the cartridge.
